What are we, God’s assembled people, to be and do? The Holy Spirit told us the activities for the first Christians, and us to do, in Acts and the New Testament!

-they were filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4)
-they preached the Word (Acts 2:14-15, 40, 2 Tim. 4:1-4)
-they baptized (Acts 2:41, Matt. 28:19)
-they studied the Scriptures (Acts 3:42, 11:6, 20:20)
-they devoted themselves to the fellowship (Acts 2:42)
-they met needs (Acts 2:44-45)
-they prayed (Acts 4:31, 12:5, 13:3)
-Deacons were chosen (Acts 6:1-6)
-they sent out missionaries (Acts 13:2-3)
-they reported God’s work (Acts 14;7)
-they practiced church discipline (1 Cor. 5:2)
-they encouraged each other (1 Thess. 5:7)
-they gave financially (Phil. 4:8)
-they admonished one another (Col. 3:16)
