The Devil strategized to take Daniel down and destroy his faith. Daniel built his life on trusting God. Write down his resolutions in the space below. (Daniel 1:8-16)

Question: Why are we in this situation?
Answer: To honor and glorify the Lord.

If that is our starting point, everything can be worked out.

Daniel Resolved
1. Not to Defile Himself
2. To be Peaceable about the Matter
3. To be Wise in the Matter
4. To Trust God
5. To Work Hard

Daniel trusted God. The result: He defeated the Devil’s strategy.

If I trust God, I too can defeated the Devil’s strategy in my life.
