Principle 1: Joy (v4)

• What are we to do? – Rejoice
• How are we to do it? – In the Lord
• When are we to do it? – Always

Principle 2: Gentleness (v5)

• How should it be recognized? – To be known
• What is the scope? – To all men
• What is the motivation? – The Lord is at hand

Principle 3: Peacefulness (V6-7)

• Where does this peace come from? – Your prayer life
• Where does this peace come from? – Gratitude
• What is outstanding about this peace? – It defies description

Principle 4: – Holiness (v8-9)

• What is holiness about? – What you think
• What is holiness about? – What you do
