The Laodicean church (Revelation 3:14-20) expresses one of the end time dangers for the people in the church. What were the three areas in which the Laodicean church was proud?

Their riches, their clothes, their seeing-astuteness (v17).

What were the problems of the Laodicean church that they didn’t understand? They were spiritually poor (Deut. 8), naked (Rev. 19:8, 2 Tim. 3:1-5) and spiritually blind and foolish. Don’t deny the message of the cross!

What was Jesus’ advice to them? Buy from Jesus (Is. 55). Listen to His rebuke, and be earnest and repent. And open the door of your heart to Jesus (John 10:9).
