King Josiah was one of Judah’s best kings… the cream of the crop… On a level with David himself… a ten out of ten. He did a lot of amazing things for his people during his 31 year reign. Interestingly, the Bible only shares with us Josiah’s spiritual decisions because they were the best things he did. II Chron 34.
Let’s think about those decisions.
A. He began to S______________ God (1-3)
B. He T__________ D__________ idols (3b-7)
C. He restored the place of W___________ (8-13)
D. Commitment to O___________ of God’s word (14-32) 15, 19, 27
E. Personal S_________ (to benefit others) (35:7-9)
The lesson of his life is that decisions determine destiny. My decisions determine my destiny. What will be my destiny based upon my present decisions? Will I have a strong, passionate spiritual life or a shallow anemic one?
