Our study of Saul illustrated for us the poor choices he made as he lived his life. Fortunately, there was a king of Israel who followed Saul who made much better choices. His name was David. The following S words illustrate his life choices.

A. Spiritually oriented – 1 Sam. 13:14
B. Sensitive – 1 Sam. 24:5-7
C. Stubborn (did not bend to peer pressure) – 1 Sam. 30
D. Selfless

Ps. 78:72; And David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them.
