Have you ever had a ‘powerful thirst’?  Can you remember the satisfaction of chugging a big drink of your favorite liquid flavor?

As you live your life, have you become aware of a spiritual thirst, a desire for something more?  It may surface something like this.  “Is this all there is?  There has to be more to life. I hope there is more to life than this.”

If this is you, Jesus speaks to you in Rev. 22:17:  Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.  This heavenly water is undervalued, generally scorned and unappreciated.  The devil and the world have concocted an abundance of bogus brews nowadays and people keep chugging them down even though it leaves them thirsty and disappointed.  But Jesus, the Living Water, it is the real deal.  Those who have been thirsty and continually sip of his water know how satisfying He is.  What a horrific shame to stand by the water that gives life and refuse to drink it!
