What does God’s love look like? (Eph. 3:16-21)

Love’s starting point is God. (1 John 4:7-12)
-love comes fresh from God (v7)
-God is love (v8)
-Not that we love God (v10)

Our human love is not the standard of love. Our love is weak and insignificant, inadequate.

Love focuses on others.
-God sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for us (v10)

Love sacrifices and gives all (John 15:13)

Love calls us to be holy and accountable, it is not an emotional response.

Jesus loves us so much He wants us to be with Him! (John 17:24)

Love is a choice! Do we love… because? Or do we love… anyway?
