In today’s world, it seems entertainment is king… but in our hearts we’re shriveling up.

Entertainment disconnects us from the truth and spiritual food of God’s word. Jesus’s ministry was never for entertainment.

Boredom is not an equal opportunity occurrence. We need to evaluate the condition of our heart.

God has said that special blessings accrue to those who are committed to His church. God wants to make us spiritually rich, but we want to stay entertained and spiritually poor.

God wants His church to have Godly leaders. He wants us to use our spiritual gifts to serve in His kingdom. (1 Tim. 3:2-7). He’s looking for character and those who can set an appointment example. (1 Sam. 16:7)
