There are many things in this world that can cause us to be afraid. When fear comes, do we look for the easy way out? What did Saul do right? What did he do wrong that cost him his kingdom?

1 Samuel 13 (Jonathan gets Saul into trouble)

-The end doesn’t justify the means.
-When God promises something, reach out by faith and take it.
-God doesn’t need a majority to win.
-God will take care of you. (Ps. 3:6, Ps. 27:3)

The lesson: When I am afraid, I must continue to do what is right.
